Visitors at Cane Creek State Park enjoy a brisk Autumn hike.
Cane Creek State Park covers more than 2,000 beautiful acres. The park offers 29 complete camp sites, fishing, picnicking, hiking/ biking, trails, the Visitors Center and many more recreational opportunities. Cane Creek’s shallow, timber-filled lake provides an excellent habitat for bass, crappie, catfish and bream. The park is located on Hwy. 293 off of Hwy. 425 at the southern end of Star City. WELCOME TO STAR CITY Cradled by the mighty Arkansas River and bisected by Bayou Bartholomew, the longest bayou in the world, Lincoln County is rich in agriculture and heritage; Star City is home to many structures listed on the National Register of Historical Places, including the courthouse and Joslyn-Carder Historic Town Square.
Located in the heart of the resurgent downtown business district, the square is home to a replica of the clock tower from the Lincoln County Courthouse that was razed in 1964. This full scale model houses the original clockworks and stands amid other historic buildings.
